Abigail Whitaker is Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Vacation Innovations, responsible for providing vision and leadership for all aspects of brand strategy, marketing and communications across the company’s family of brands and websites.
A driven marketing executive with a passion for search engine optimization and more than a decade of experience in digital and traditional marketing, Abigail joined Vacation Innovations in 2012 as Director of Marketing, following the company’s acquisition of SellMyTimeshareNow.com, where she had worked since 2008. She held several progressively advancing positions with Vacation Innovations and was promoted to her current role in 2019.
During her time at Vacation Innovations, Abigail has built a world-class team of marketers focused on designing and executing impactful, integrated marketing programs that deliver results. She led the organization’s adoption of an attribution-based approach to digital marketing campaigns, reducing paid media spend by more than 20% within the first six months while simultaneously growing revenues year over year. Abigail also acts as a champion of the customer within the organization, focusing on the lifecycle of Vacation Innovations’ customers to deliver superior, personalized experiences.
Abigail graduated summa cum laude from Skidmore College with a B.A. in English and American Studies, where she also became a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society.
A New England native, Abigail lives with her husband and “fur babies” in coastal New Hampshire. A lover of all animals, Abigail volunteers for and contributes to several local animal rescues. In her down time, she enjoys kayaking and reading as many thriller/suspense novels as she can get her hands on.
